NAHAD will host its 2nd annual Hose Safety Institute Regional training as a virtual event.  Scheduled for October 5-6, 2020, this program is designed to promote and develop an understanding and adoption of  HSI guidelines and best practices in hose design and fabrication.  Attendees will participate in a unique virtual experience that will include interactive learning sessions that will ensure engagement .

Tim joined Parker Hannifin in 2001.  He has 37 years experience as a product sales manager for industrial and hydraulic hose.  In addition to holding several patents, Tim has been involved in new product development, product failure analysis, developing marketing program, and has had involvement in developing technical standards for the hose industry.  When not working.Tim is an avid hunter, traveler, and family man.  He and his wife of 41 years, Libbie, enjoy traveling in their motor home and seeing the beauty of this country.  They also enjoy taking trips with their children and 6 grandchildren.

Brad joined GHX Industrial in January 2017.  Prior to joining GHX, Brad has held a variety of senior, corporate, and global leadership positions with both privately and publically held companies. Brad has developed a strong track record of achieving best-in-class operational and financial performance through the development of people and teams, safety performance, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain optimization, and New Product Development process improvements.  Brad has co-authored several white papers and been a frequent guest speaker on S&OP and Lean.

Titus is responsible for driving customer relationships, with a focus on the Petrochemical and Refining markets. Titus brings to the position a successful track record of more than 16 years that includes leadership positions in both Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution.  Within the downstream segment, Titus specializes in forming Hose Safety & Management programs that add value to the customer relationship.  Prior to joining JGB Enterprises, Titus sat as the Chairman of the NAHAD Standards Committee and Co-Chair of the Advisory Council.  He lives in League City, Texas with his wife and three children.

Brent has been in the Hose business for 38 years. Starting as an Office Engineer with The Gates Corporation making product application recommendations, conducting product surveys, and providing technical assistance to Customers. His career has included a progression through Sales & Marketing, as well as Sales & Marketing Management positions with Gates, Titan Industries, Parker Hannifin, Thermoid, and PT during his career.  In this variety of roles he has had the opportunity to work with Distributor personnel to  develop methods, and systems for cementing relationships with end users.

Jyotsna is responsible for developing  Trainings for Fundamental Hydraulics, Electro-Hydraulics and  Electronic controls portfolio products. She has delivered customized Trainings worldwide.

Paul began his sales career at the age of 16 in St. Louis, MO. He has sold car washes, painting services, jewelry, propane, construction tools and fasteners, and medical equipment. Paul has over fifteen years of business-to-business sales experience. For six of those years, he sold tools and fasteners for the Hilti organization. Paul joined the Hilti Master’s club in 2010 and was recognized in 2011 with Hilti’s three million dollar sales club. Paul Reilly is a salesperson at heart.

JoannaJoanna Truitt, Director of Training and Hose Safety Institute, NAHAD

Joanna joined the NAHAD team in 2018.  Since then she’s immersed herself in learning more about the industry and challenges faced by distributors.  Joanna has years of experience with non-profit organizations and adult education.  She has a penchant for process redesign and problem-solving.  When not dreaming about hoses, she likes to spend her weekends at the ocean.

Susanna has been in Hose and Ducting Industry for over 20 years. She started in 1998 as an integral part of building the Hi Tech Hose, Inc. brand before moving on to join the Flexaust sales and marketing team as Marketing Manager in 2007. She’s a driven marketing leader with a proven record of generating growth, market share, branding, communications and profitability. Susanna joined the NAHAD Board of Directors in 2018 as chair of the Standards Committee and liaison to the NAHAD Executive Committee.
