About the Designation

Earn the Hose Safety Insitute (HSI) Designation

The HSI designation is awarded to NAHAD member locations (separate physical facilities operated by the member company), regardless of membership type, who follow the hose fabrication and assembly guidelines, and best practices outlined in the HSI Handbook and Fabrication Guides.  This designation rewards NAHAD members who value, promote, and require HSI training for their employees. ‎ The designation is tied to a specific branch/location – where a NAHAD member has more than one location, each location must apply individually.

The application requires self-disclosure of the number of individuals currently employed at the branch/location in a specific position classification.  An attestation confirming the information to be accurate and verifiable, if requested, is required before the application is considered complete. NAHAD staff will confirm your application status within 5 business days.
